"Beyond Polarization: Bridging the Red/Blue Divide in Communities"

Bill Doherty, Ph.D., Better Angels

We may live in the most divisive time since the 1850s. Join us to hear from Bill Doherty, co-founder of Better Angels, about how people with very different viewpoints can come to understand one another beyond stereotypes and find common ground. You will learn a couple of specific skills for talking with loved ones on the other side of divisive issues. And you will have a chance to link up with the Better Angels local and national effort to show how we can have sharp differences of opinion without denigrating and demonizing one another.
