The annual Rotary International Convention was held in Houston, Texas last week. Somewhat unique to this year, our club had four representatives attend due to the past two conventions being cancelled or held virtually. Pictured above are Tracey Galowitz, Patty Radoc, Katie Bang, and Robin Anthony gathered outside the House of Friendship ahead of attending one of the general assemblies.
A message from past president (1995), Tracey Galowitz:
I had the honor to accompany these amazing women to the Rotary International Convention. It was fascinating, humbling, and oh so inspiring. I hope we can share the excitement and pride it instilled in being a Rotarian. I came away with a deep appreciation for our leaders: Robin (future), Katie (present), and Patty (past). We are in caring, capable, and compassionate hands. We are so fortunate! I look forward to the responsibilities they will request of us, as members, so we can all share in the Rotary Experience, locally, regionally, and internationally. And here’s to Jennifer Jones, Rotary International’s incoming President!
Eric Tiffany is a new member to our club. Eric is an insurance broker with Hal Tiffany Insurance Agency. Please be sure to give a warm welcome to Eric the next time you see him.
We look forward to celebrating another wonderful year in Rotary on Thursday, June 30th at 6:00pm at Washington Square Park for our club’s annual year-end picnic. You and your guest are invited to join us for dinner, drinks, and a short program. Please use the signup link below to RSVP. If you prefer, a paper sign-up will be available at the meeting.
As I wrap up my Presidential year, I want to thank you for your support and commitment to our club. Rotary is an extraordinary organization that gets things done - and I'm proud to be a Rotarian alongside you all. Thank you for a great year!
"You won't believe it, and strange as it sounds, extraordinary magic follows you around."
