The Service Committee hosted a volunteering opportunity at Valley Outreach last week. Thank you to our volunteers: Sharon, Tom, Patty, Lois, Katie, Molly, Clare, and Bev! Michelle joined the HealthPartners as Executive Director of the Lakeview Health Foundation in 2023, where she is leading a $150 million capital campaign for a new Lakeview campus. Her background in fundraising is in higher education and health care, formerly at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, the University of Minnesota Foundation, and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Prior to that, Michelle practiced law at Arthur Chapman in Minneapolis. She holds a Juris Doctor from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota. Michelle grew up in Woodbury and now lives in Lake Elmo with her husband, Kelly, and five-year-old son, Jack.
This year, we are celebrating the Rotary Foundation more locally, with more fun, and more casually, and we need your help. This is a chance for you to inspire your club members to get more involved with the Rotary Foundation to meet your club’s foundation and membership goals and celebrate any foundation grants that your club is proud of. We are doing this through a Foundation Tap Room Tour (four locations throughout the district).
