Amanda Lathrop

I was first introduced to the club in 2019 when I was hired to produce our 100th Anniversary video, which you can watch here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cz3VQo1PcHA&authuser=0. Inspired by the Service Above Self motto, I officially joined Rotary in January 2021.

I have been the owner of Lead Sheep Productions, LLC, a storytelling video production company for 11 years. I am active with the Greater Stillwater Chamber and serve on the steering committee for Women’s Business Bridge.

I live in New Richmond, WI, where I built my dream home on the Willow River. It sounds far but is just 20 minutes from club meetings. It is also close to my three sisters, nieces, and nephews.

My favorite Rotary memory (so far) was attending the 2024 International Convention in Singapore. It’s one thing to hear Rotary is international, but another to experience it.

I’m a passionate traveler, I backpacked through Europe after college, visited the Olympic Village in Beijing before the 2008 games, and in 2021, checked off my final U.S. state—Alaska.

I’m excited to begin my “official" year as president and look forward to fun, informative meetings, more service opportunities, and greater collaboration with area clubs.

Presidents Picnic 2025

Thank you to everyone who braved the rain drops and attended the President's Picnic.

After a wet day, the rain stopped in time for us to celebrate our year. A fun time was had by all.

Some fun and interesting awards were given out.

Longevity

This is a photo of five of our members who have been in our club the longest, have done immeasurable selfless acts of generosity for our club, our community and beyond. It also shows how our Rotary members value the opportunity to connect with long held friends every week. Together they have 222 years of service between them. They are left to right. Steve Kiester (42 years), David Brandt (52 years), Orv Johnson (52 years), Roger Smith (27 years) and David Wettergren (49 years).
